DI Associates, Inc.'s mission is to enhance health care through cost-effective, quality education and consultation. Donna D. Ignatavicius (better known as "Iggy" by faculty and students) is the company's owner and President. Her husband, Charles, is a licensed nursing home administrator (LNHA) and Vice President of DI Associates, Inc.

Nationally recognized as an expert in nursing education and medical-surgical/gerontological nursing, Donna has a wealth of experience in education, clinical nursing, and administration. She has taught in PN, diploma, AD, and BSN programs for many years.

Currently, Donna conducts local, regional, and national conferences and program consultation on such topics as curriculum transformation, active learning strategies, and evaluation methods. She has conducted over 2000 of these presentations in 49 states during the past 10 years.

Donna is also the founder of the very popular, international Boot Camp for Nurse Educators® conference, a valuable educational experience that provides an opportunity for both novice and seasoned faculty to learn about current best practices in nursing education.

Additionally, Donna is the author of a number of articles, chapters, and books, including her leading textbook, Medical-Surgical Nursing: Patient-Centered Collaborative Care (6th ed.), co-authored with Linda Workman.

In 2007, Donna was inducted into the prestigious Academy of Nursing Education (ANEF) in recognition of her national contributions to the field of nursing education.
