Donna D. Ignatavicius (better known as "Iggy" by faculty and students) is the company's owner and President. Her husband, Charles, is a licensed nursing home administrator (LNHA) and Vice President of DI Associates, Inc. Dr. Tami Little is an associate consultant whose expertise is in curriculum development and evaluation.
DI Associates, Inc.'s mission is to enhance health care through cost-effective, quality education and consultation.
Nationally recognized as an expert in nursing education and medical-surgical/gerontological nursing, Iggy has a wealth of experience in education, clinical nursing, and administration. She has taught in PN, diploma, AD, and BSN programs for many years.
Currently, Iggy conducts local, regional, and national conferences and program consultation on such topics as curriculum transformation, active learning strategies, and evaluation methods. She has conducted over 2000 of these presentations in 49 states during the past 10 years.
Iggy is also the founder of the very popular, international Boot Camp for Nurse Educators® conference, a valuable educational experience that provides an opportunity for both novice and seasoned faculty to learn about current best practices in nursing education.
Additionally, Iggy is the author of a number of articles, chapters, and books, including her leading textbook, Medical-Surgical Nursing: Concepts for Interprofessional Collaborative Care, 9th Edition, co-authored with Linda Workman and Cherie Rebar.
In 2007, Iggy was inducted into the prestigious Academy of Nursing Education (ANEF) in recognition of her national contributions to the field of nursing education.
